The vertical compound superfinishing machine is a core device used in the final stage of bearing manufacturing.
The horizontal compound superfinishing machine is used for ultra-precision finishing of the surfaces of shaft and disc components such as rollers, ball screws, and gears.
Superfinishing machine is used for final finishing of precision surfaces after grinding or hard turning. Using superfinishing stones or abrasive tape with a controlled oscillating motion, it removes a very small amount of material to further improve surface roughness, waviness, and surface texture.
Compared with grinding, superfinishing removes less material and is focused primarily on refining the workpiece’s final surface quality and functional surface characteristics.
Typical superfinishing workpieces include bearing rings, cylindrical rollers, tapered rollers, shaft components, and other precision transmission parts. Vertical or horizontal machine configurations can be selected according to the workpiece geometry, surface to be finished, and production method.
